Well another glorious morning for rugby and a packed house at the home of rugby – Kiwi Hawthorn’s John Gardiner Reserve.
Harry and Jacko helped out with boosting the numbers for Moorabbin and both had their moments tackling their teammates from Kiwi Hawthorn and running strongly.
Flynn was back in the thick of it, regularly appearing in the middle of the action to make tackles, secure the ball or drive back the Moorabbin ball runners.
We also had Abraham join our ranks this week and he can hold his head up high with how he managed the step up – well done Abraham. And similarly Adonai jumped at the chance to fill in this week and put in a number of crunching tackle on his cousin Cire. Abraham was supported in the forward pack by Thomas who continues to improve each week using his size to good effect, competing strongly for the ball.
Likewise Henry is on the rise as he comes to grip with the game, it is great to see him getting involved in the physical stuff – awesome effort Henry.
And Aidan again demonstrated what a devastating runner he is with the ball in hand and a bit of space. Plus he led the way on defence with some great tackling.
At the end of the day our boys can once again be proud of their efforts and player of the day went to Harry – congratulations Harry!
