We are super-excited to announce that Hawthorn Touch7s will return in Term 1, 2023!
Touch7s is super-easy to learn: you pick up the ball, dodge the opponents and score. You can run, pass or kick the ball (yes even AFL hand passes are ok!). It’s keepings-off, chassie and red rover rolled into one and once you start, you won’t want to stop! Millions of boys and girls around the world can’t be wrong, you’re gonna love Touch Rugby too!

Touch7s is all about fun, fitness and friendship in the great outdoors. And it’s super easy to learn: if you can run with a ball in your hand, your playing Touch7s.
Who: Hawthorn Touch7s is for boys and girls aged 6-16
What: Tuesdays 2 x 20 min Touch Rugby games + skills clinic under the careful eye of our top-rated coaching team
Teams: Each team has 7-9 players, you can enter a team and play with your mates, or we’ll find you a team and you can make some new friends!
When: Tuesdays 5:00pm – 6:00pm October 11 – November 15, 2022 | February 7 – March 7, 2023
Where: Beautiful Anderson Park, Anderson Road, East Hawthorn
What to bring: Water bottle, runners & cap (no footy boots)
How much: $50 per player per term

COVID restrictions
Of course participation in Hawthorn Touch7s will be subject to our COVID protocols, which will include ‘Not well? Don’t play’, no sharing water bottles, parents keep social distance.
In the event that we are unable to conduct Hawthorn Touch7s, due to COVID restrictions, pro-rata refunds will be issued to all players.

What is Touch7s?
Touch7s is the non-contact version of Rugby7s and it’s chock full of all the things kids need right now: running around outside, dodging and weaving, and great fun!

Uniforms
In the interests of making Hawthorn Touch7s available for everyone, there is no requirement to purchase uniforms – players can compete in T-Shirt and shorts. We will supply bibs for one team in each match.
But we love the idea of a team t-shirt and we’ll even help design a logo for your team and find a maker, if you’d like to add a little more sparkle to your Summer!
