Well the giants of Eltham came down from the mountain, and they came to play!  But so did we, with our own home grown giant and Captain for the day, Abraham leading the boys into battle.

It was great to welcome Abraham back to our Club and our team.  He was soon showing us all the sizzle that he is now rightly famous for.  Did you know they named the fastest tank on earth after him – look it up!

What a great match our boys played: outnumbered, pinned down at times, but never lacking in will or courage.

We are getting better each week, at every aspect of the game.  Still there is much to work on, which is good, because we enjoy working on it so much!

For example: the scrum

We saw a great work rate from Billy as usual today.

Lucas ripped the ball off Eltham and showed no fear.

Some lovely lines and backing up from Charlie and Devonte who combined for one of our great team tries.

Adonai had his jet boots back on and they were running at about Mach 1.3

Darcy tackled and fended and poached the ball at the breakdown, and was a deserving winner of our best/most improved player medal for the game.

Can’t wait till next week – wait, don’t have to, we’ve got training on Tuesday! All welcome.
