Running Rugby people! It’s what the Australian rugby public is calling for. It’s what we play at Kiwi Hawthorn!
Even against the cream of the Endeavour Hills Rugby Club, our boys ran and ran and dodged and weaved and found a way to the line.
And we added another new player to our team: welcome Reza! And boy did he show the way, tackling and running and passing and getting involved.
At our best we ran straight and when tackled, played the quick off load. We were ripping and fending and side stepping and passing. It was beautiful to watch.
Not to take anything away from Endeavour Hills, in fact I think they might have run in a few more tries than us today to be absolutely honest (we did lend them three of our best players) but more than anything else, our boys were never disheartened, supporting their team mates and always hungry for the line.

All in all a great morning’s rugby.
